At CES 2026, Hisense expanded its RGB MiniLED TV lineup, less than a year after introducing the first consumer model with this technology. The company is now offering RGB MiniLED across multiple series and screen sizes, aiming to reach a wider audience.
Flagship 116UXS Features Advanced Four-Color MiniLED Evo
The new flagship model, 116UXS, incorporates RGB MiniLED evo technology, which adds a cyan LED to the traditional red, green, and blue backlight. This four-color system enhances control over wavelengths where human vision is most sensitive, resulting in smoother gradients, more accurate mid-tones, and natural colour transitions. The improved backlighting delivers greater depth and detail without oversaturation, even when viewing non-HDR content.
The 116UXS is powered by the Hi-View AI Engine RGB, managing tens of thousands of colour dimming zones in real time to maintain accurate colours during fast motion, bright highlights, and dark scenes. Hisense claims the TV achieves up to 110 percent BT.2020 colour coverage. The design features ultra-thin bezels and a thickness of just 1.57 inches. It also includes a 6.2.2 speaker system tuned by Devialet Opéra de Paris, enhancing the audio experience.
UR9 and UR8 Series Bring RGB MiniLED to More Buyers
Hisense is also introducing RGB MiniLED technology to the UR9 and UR8 series, which use the second-generation RGB structure launched in 2025. These models are available in screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to 100 inches, making RGB MiniLED technology more accessible beyond the flagship range.
The UR9 and UR8 focus on consistent colour performance in typical room environments. They offer a wider colour gamut, clearer tonal separation, and stable colours during sports, movies, and gaming. Hisense highlights these TVs’ ability to retain colour accuracy in bright rooms and fast-moving scenes. Both series feature refreshed designs and audio tuned by Devialet.
Hisense Accelerates RGB MiniLED Adoption
With the CES 2026 lineup, Hisense demonstrates a clear strategy to lead in RGB MiniLED technology. The company plans to first integrate advanced colour technology into flagship models and then quickly expand it across more screen sizes and price points. This approach aims to make RGB MiniLED TVs available to a broader segment of consumers faster than competitors.
