Udaipur, March 16, 2026 (Daily Kiran): Hindustan Zinc, under the Vedanta Group, has launched an initiative to empower youth in the Debari region by providing free coaching for competitive examinations related to various government jobs. The programme has generated significant enthusiasm among students, with a large number of young participants enrolling in the initiative.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Kuldeep Sharma, ADJ Udaipur; Girish Bhatnagar, Joint Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Department; Naresh Agrawal, Finance Head, Zinc Smelter Debari; Ruchika Naresh Chawla, CSR Head, Zinc Smelter Debari; Dr. S.S. Surana, Founder of Dr. Anushka Law College; Mrs. Kamla Surana, President of Dr. Anushka Memorial Educational Society; Aparna Vyas from the CSR team; and RAS officer SJE Suraj Parmar.
On the occasion, the guests distributed bags and study materials to the students.
Chief Guest Kuldeep Sharma highlighted the importance of hard work during student life. He said that through such free coaching initiatives, every student can achieve success in life with determination and dedication.
During the programme, Girish Bhatnagar encouraged students to use their inner strength effectively, describing it as the key to success. Naresh Agrawal, Finance Head of Zinc Smelter Debari and Pantnagar, extended his best wishes to students for their competitive examinations and guided them to make the most of the free coaching opportunity.
Suraj Parmar shared examples from challenging circumstances in his childhood and emphasised that consistent hard work and strong determination can help individuals achieve great heights in life.
During the event, students who were selected for government services through the earlier free coaching programme conducted by Hindustan Zinc — Ganesh Lal Meghwal, Bhanwar Lal Gayari, and Mangilal Gameti — were honoured.
Rajiv Surana, Director of the Anushka Group, expressed gratitude to all the guests and said that the 100-day programme offers a valuable opportunity for youth in the Debari region. He assured that the Anushka Group will provide dedicated and quality guidance to students over the next three months.
More than 110 young students from the Debari surrounding areas were present during the programme.
