Chandigarh, August 13: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has imposed an interim stay on the recruitment process for pharmacist officers in Punjab. This decision follows allegations of a paper leak, which prompted a petition to be filed in court.
During the hearing of the petition submitted by Keshav Kamboj and others, the court ruled to halt the recruitment process due to alleged irregularities and the paper leak claims.
In response to this ruling, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. A post on the BJP’s social media platform X stated that the AAP’s biggest lie has been exposed by the court. For a long time, the AAP claimed that there had been no paper leaks in Punjab, but the High Court has raised serious questions regarding the pharmacy exam scandal, undermining that assertion.
The BJP further stated that the narrative of ‘transparent recruitment’ by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government has been completely discredited. While students’ futures hang in the balance, AAP leaders continued to make false claims. Enough is enough. There will be no more denial or theatrics. The youth of Punjab deserve justice, not lies.
Additionally, the Punjab BJP remarked that the High Court’s stay on the pharmacy officer recruitment process has judicially validated the paper leak allegations. They questioned how the AAP would respond now. Will they still deny the paper leak, or will they cease making false claims after reviewing the court records?
Amit Malviya, head of the BJP’s IT cell, also criticized the Punjab government. He noted that the AAP’s favorite defense has always been: “There was no paper leak in Punjab.” Now that the High Court has placed a stay on the recruitment process over the paper leak allegations, will AAP continue to deny the leaks, or will they stop pretending nothing happened?
He further questioned the silence of the so-called ‘voice of the students,’ referring to CJP, Dipke, and their team, who never miss an opportunity to criticize the BJP. Why is their voice absent in this matter concerning Punjab? The answer is clear: their anger is not for the students but for political reasons.
Malviya concluded by stating that when issues arise in BJP-ruled states, these individuals are at the forefront of protests, but when controversies emerge in AAP-ruled Punjab, they suddenly disappear. CJP, Dipke, and their team are waiting in Punjab. Where are they?
