Hema Malini to Perform Live for the First Time at Diamond Jubilee Concert

Mumbai, May 30: Renowned actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini is set to embark on a new chapter in her illustrious film career by performing live for the first time. This special musical event, titled ‘The Dream Girls Diamond Jubilee Concert,’ will also serve as a charity initiative to support the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA).

Scheduled for July 10 in Mumbai, the concert will showcase Hema Malini’s memorable journey in cinema. The event will feature significant milestones from her life and career, presented through music and storytelling.

The format of the concert is themed ‘Legends’ Stories, in Legends’ Words.’ During the performance, she will also sing some of her iconic film songs. Fans are particularly excited about a surprise song that she plans to unveil at the end of the concert.

To enhance the musical evening, a live orchestra comprising 15 artists will be present. This orchestra will bring to life the various phases of Hema Malini’s career through music. The anecdotes, memories, and songs related to her cinematic journey will be the main attractions of the event.

Recently, a press conference was held to promote the concert, attended by several prominent artists. Notable figures such as Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure, RJ Anirudh Chawla, and renowned singers Suresh Wadkar, Shabbir Kumar, Anu Malik, and Vijeta Pandit were present. During the event, the concert’s poster and trailer were launched.

At the press event, many artists shared their fond memories of Hema Malini. Padmini Kolhapure mentioned that she would dedicate a special performance to Hema and Dharmendra. Although she has yet to finalize her song choice, discussions with Anu Malik are ongoing.
