Mumbai, June 20: Actor Anupam Kher has shared an inspiring message about success, perseverance, and facing criticism.
In a recent Instagram post, Kher revealed that he no longer allows negative comments to affect him. Reflecting on his lifelong connection with challenges, he stated that true happiness lies not just in reaching the peak but in the journey of overcoming difficulties.
While sharing several photos, the actor, known for his role in “Tanvi the Great,” wrote, “I have always loved climbing. Not because I want to reach the top, but because I enjoy the challenge of the climb. The harder the path, the greater the joy upon reaching a place you never expected to arrive at. Yes, when you reach a significant milestone, there are always those who want to pull you down. Perhaps it makes them feel better.”
Regarding criticism, Kher remarked, “If they can’t reach where you have, they have two options: work hard or criticize you. Criticism is usually the easier route. I no longer take it to heart. I am always in search of another mountain, another ladder, another challenge. After all, true happiness has never been about standing at the top. It has always been about the climb, right?”
He accompanied this post with various pictures showing him posing on a staircase, illustrating his message about the joy of continuous effort, progress, and embracing new challenges.
Previously, Anupam Kher shared a powerful and emotional video titled “I Am an Indian,” where he discussed common perceptions and stereotypes about Indians, whether in the country or abroad.
Professionally, Kher was last seen in the film “Tanvi the Great,” which he also directed. The film featured notable actors such as Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Naseeruddin Shah, and Iain Glen.
