Ranchi, 17 August (Kiran News). There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in some places in the south-western districts of Jharkhand on 19 August, Tuesday, two days from today. The Meteorological Department has indicated the likelihood of heavy rainfall in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Palamu, Garhwa, and Latehar districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, these areas may also experience thunder, lightning, and strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. In view of this, a yellow alert has been issued by the department.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the weather in the capital Ranchi and surrounding areas will remain clear and sunny. Residents of the capital may feel mild heat and humidity. The maximum temperature recorded in Ranchi was 27.4 degrees, in Jamshedpur 33.1, in Bokaro 32.5, and in Chaibasa 31.8 degrees Celsius.
