Hisar, March 10: The Haryana Women’s Commission conducted an unexpected inspection at a school in Hisar district on Tuesday. This action followed reports of suspicious activities at the school, prompting the commission to investigate firsthand.
Renu Bhatia, chairperson of the Haryana Women’s Commission, stated that the inspection was entirely unannounced to ascertain the true nature of the activities taking place. During the visit, unusual behaviors among students were observed. As it was a holiday, children and their parents were summoned through the village sarpanch. The commission directly questioned the children about the events at the school, during which they felt pressured to claim it was merely a game.
The commission indicated that further investigations would be conducted. They plan to gather comprehensive information from the children, their parents, and the school administration to uncover the truth behind the situation.
In her remarks, Renu Bhatia said, “I inspected a school in Hisar where we noticed some strange occurrences. We called the children and their parents through the village sarpanch since it was a holiday and asked what had happened. The children were pressured to state that it was a game. All of us, aged 50 to 55, have played gilli-danda, marbles, and other games, but we have never played ‘Murga-Murga.’ Please explain what this game is; otherwise, we will see how it is played. We will work on what we have discovered so far.”
She emphasized that the women’s commission monitors such incidents and takes action against any suspicious or inappropriate activities. If any game or activity at the school is harmful to children, the state women’s commission will take immediate steps to halt it.
