
Gandhinagar, July 15: On his birthday, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel took to social media platform X to respond to birthday wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. He reiterated the state’s commitment to contributing to the vision of ‘Developed India 2047.’
In his response to Prime Minister Modi, Patel expressed gratitude for the wishes and emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, Gujarat will continue to play a leading role in achieving national development goals.
Patel stated, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, thank you for your heartfelt wishes. Under your visionary and inspiring leadership, Gujarat is committed to playing a pivotal role in realizing the goals of ‘Developed India 2047.'”
He further mentioned that the Gujarat team is dedicated to ensuring comprehensive and inclusive development, prioritizing the welfare of the last person in society and the marginalized.
Patel added, “Your continuous affection, blessings, and invaluable guidance are an unending source of energy and inspiration for us.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had extended birthday wishes, saying, “Heartfelt wishes to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on his birthday. He is playing a leading role in taking Gujarat to new heights of development and fulfilling the aspirations of the people. I wish him a long life and good health.”
Patel also thanked Amit Shah for his “affectionate wishes” in response to the Union Minister’s birthday message.
In a post on X, Patel wrote, “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with your support, my team and I are committed to revitalizing the rural economy, strengthening the cooperative sector, and ensuring the overall development of the state through robust law and order.”
Previously, Shah had described Patel as someone playing a crucial role in continuously advancing Gujarat’s development journey under the Prime Minister’s leadership, wishing him good health and longevity.
On his birthday, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel shared that he had the privilege of virtually visiting the first Jyotirlinga, Shri Somnath Mahadev, and participating in a grand worship ceremony. The priests of the temple conducted a Rudrabhishek and special prayers, which were deeply reverent moments. Prime Minister Modi had also registered Patel for a special grand worship ceremony held in Somnath to commemorate the Self-Respect Festival. Patel vowed to visit the Somnath temple for the darshan of Mahadev as part of his commitment to this grand worship.
It is noteworthy that Bhupendra Patel turned 64 on Wednesday. He has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat since September 2021 and took office for a second consecutive term after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in the 2022 assembly elections.
Professionally a civil engineer, Bhupendra Patel previously worked with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and served as the head of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority. He represents the Ghatlodia assembly constituency.
Under his leadership, the Gujarat government continues to focus on industrial investment, infrastructure development, urban administration, and welfare programs. Additionally, several state initiatives have been aligned with the long-term vision of a developed India by 2047.
