Delhi Police Responds to Social Media Allegations, Asserts Legal Action Taken

New Delhi, July 15: The Delhi Police has issued an official statement addressing allegations made against officers from the Samaypur Badli police station on social media. The police clarified that based on available facts and investigations, the allegations against the officers were found to be unsubstantiated and that all actions taken were in accordance with the law.

According to the Delhi Police, the case is related to an incident of assault that occurred on June 10, 2026. A report was filed at the Samaypur Badli police station regarding this incident. During the investigation, police identified Sachin, Jeetu, Bharat, and Chinta Devi as the accused.

The police reported that all accused individuals had applied for anticipatory bail in court, but their petitions were rejected. Following this, police took action and arrested Jeetu, while the other accused remain at large, and efforts to locate them are ongoing.

The police stated that the woman making allegations on social media is the sister of accused Sachin and Bharat. They received information suggesting that the absconding accused might be present at their home. Based on this information, a police team visited their residence but found no suspects there. Subsequently, the police affixed a legal notice at the residence under Section 35(3) of the Indian Citizen Security Code.

The Delhi Police clarified that there was no confirmation of any police officer forcibly entering the home based on the evidence available. They also stated that allegations of verbal abuse, threats, or misconduct were not substantiated during the investigation. According to the police, no solid evidence was found to support these claims.
