Gandhinagar, April 20: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed the ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ on Monday. He highlighted that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, free treatment for serious illnesses has become accessible for poor and middle-class families.
While speaking at the gathering in Santrampur town of Mahisagar district, he noted that Prime Minister Modi has made excellent arrangements considering the health concerns of the economically weaker sections, from yoga to the Ayushman Bharat scheme. This initiative ensures access to treatment for serious diseases without any financial burden.
The Chief Minister began his address by paying tribute to the heroes of Mangarh and Govind Guru. He stated that the development-oriented approach initiated by Prime Minister Modi has directly benefited the last person in line in both the country and Gujarat. Elections are now being contested based on such developmental works. The enthusiasm visible among the people reflects their unwavering trust in the BJP.
Patel remarked that PM Modi has always aimed high and worked with significant goals, benefiting millions of citizens. Essential services like water supply, electricity, and road connectivity have reached villages across the state. Many families have realized their dream of owning a home through the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.
On the issue of tribal welfare, Patel mentioned that PM Modi has consistently worked to address the concerns of tribal communities. His efforts to resolve tribal issues have yielded positive results. The decision to celebrate ‘Tribal Pride Day’ on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda signifies a new recognition of tribal culture and heritage.
The Chief Minister also discussed administrative reforms, noting historic changes in revenue rules. Land records will now be directly converted from ‘new tenure’ to ‘old tenure’ in the 7/12 extract, eliminating the need for citizens to apply. The formation of new talukas like Godhar and Kothamba will ease administrative operations in the region.
Patel urged voters to be cautious of the opposition’s temptations and appealed to the public to ensure a decisive victory for BJP candidates in the upcoming local self-government elections.
He emphasized that for a ‘developed India,’ we must move forward with the commitment to a ‘developed Gujarat.’ Government schemes are being transparently delivered to beneficiaries.
