Surat, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : A grand bike rally is set to take place in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, starting from his birthplace, Vadnagar, and culminating in Varanasi. On September 16, a special team of 25 youth departed from Surat for Vadnagar as part of this cultural and social initiative.
Before reaching Vadnagar, the Surat team will collect holy water from the Tapi River at the Unai Mata Temple. This water will be used for a ceremonial offering at the historic Haatkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Vadnagar. Following this, a larger group of 250 youths, gathered from various cities in Gujarat, will carry water from the historic Sharmistha Pond at Modi’s birthplace to Varanasi. Upon arrival, they will conclude their journey with a ceremonial offering at the famous Baba Vishwanath Temple.
The 17-day journey will see participants staying in various villages and towns along the route. During their travels, the youth team will engage with local communities, sharing information about the Indian government’s welfare schemes, development projects, and Prime Minister Modi’s achievements on both national and international stages.
Pares Patel, president of the Surat BJP unit, stated, “This rally is a historic event that will travel from Vadnagar to Vismangar. The Surat team will begin in Unai and proceed to Vadnagar, from where they will set off to Varanasi. The entire journey will last around 15 to 17 days, during which they will also conduct service activities. The Prime Minister’s 25 years of service will be celebrated on October 7, just before his birthday on September 17.”
Participant Vipin Talavia expressed enthusiasm about the journey, saying, “We are heading from Surat to Vadnagar, and from there, we will continue to Varanasi to wish for Prime Minister Modi’s long life.”
