Government Takes Strong Stance on NEET Paper Leak, CBI Investigation Underway: JD(U) Leader Rajeev Ranjan

New Delhi, May 14: Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, the national spokesperson for the Janata Dal (United), expressed confidence in the central government’s commitment to addressing the NEET-UG paper leak issue. He stated that the government is diligently working to dismantle the entire mafia syndicate behind this scandal.

In an interview, he remarked, “The central government is very serious about NEET. Orders for a CBI investigation have been issued, and several arrests have already been made. The goal of the CBI investigation is to eliminate this entire syndicate, and we will achieve this. Students should also have faith. Those responsible for any paper leak or similar incidents will be tracked down, no matter where they hide.”

He criticized the opposition, advising students not to be swayed by their provocations. “The central government has made significant decisions with great sensitivity. The decision for a CBI investigation clearly indicates that those involved in the paper leak will not be spared. Students should maintain their composure and focus on preparing for the new exam.”

Rajeev Ranjan Prasad also expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Pratik Yadav, stating, “He passed away at a very young age. Mulayam Singh Yadav was respected across the country. We stand with Pratik Yadav’s grieving family. May God grant them strength during this difficult time.”

He further noted, “International economists and rating agencies are warning of a decline in GDP growth and rising inflation. In many countries, people are forced to buy goods at increased prices. However, due to the policy changes made by the Indian government, the difficulties faced by the common people have not escalated as much as in other countries.” He emphasized the need for careful management of foreign exchange reserves, stating that this is a time for vigilance.

Regarding the all-party meeting and the role of the opposition, the JD(U) leader mentioned, “Such discussions have taken place on several occasions in the presence of the Foreign Minister and other central ministers. Now everything is in the public domain. The central government has transparently clarified the global situation and India’s role. The opposition prioritizes political interests over national concerns during crises, but JD(U) will always play its role in the national interest at the Prime Minister’s appeal.”
