
Mumbai, August 8: Chitra Wagh, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has expressed strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the role of Gen Z in shaping India’s future. During an interview, Wagh discussed various topics including self-reliant India, drone technology, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ campaign.
Wagh stated that today’s youth is the future of India. She praised PM Modi’s continuous efforts to improve the nation. Addressing the issue of paper leaks, she noted that such incidents have occurred in every government. However, she highlighted that PM Modi has demonstrated his commitment through stringent measures to protect the future of children.
On the topic of self-reliant India, Wagh expressed pride in the country’s economic progress, moving from the 11th to the 4th position globally. She believes that under PM Modi’s leadership, India is advancing in all sectors.
Wagh also mentioned the remarkable progress in Maharashtra, where women in rural areas are now operating drones. This initiative has contributed significantly to the economy, with drones being used for medical deliveries, showcasing the effective use of drone technology under PM Modi’s guidance.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ campaign, Wagh remarked that Gen Z is aware of their true allies. She criticized certain political parties for attempting to exploit the youth movement, asserting that the youth of India stand united with PM Modi.
Furthermore, Wagh supported PM Modi’s concerns about disruptions in Parliament, emphasizing that he is a dedicated public servant working tirelessly for the nation. She stressed the importance of representatives discussing public issues in the House, while expressing concern over opposition parties obstructing parliamentary proceedings.
