Gautam Adani Outlines Three Core Principles to Accelerate Groups Vision Over the Next Decade

Ahmedabad, June 24: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, presented three fundamental principles on Wednesday that will play a crucial role in implementing the group’s vision over the next decade.

During the 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of 2026, Adani addressed shareholders, stating, “In the future, we will need more ambition, discipline, and the ability to execute than ever before. But we are all prepared—to build, to serve, and to help shape an India whose best days are yet to come.”

He elaborated on the first principle, emphasizing the need to simplify operations. “We are implementing a three-tier structure at both our headquarters and project sites to reduce bureaucracy, enhance accountability, and shorten the distance between decision-making and execution. Every role, every process, and every level should add some value. Tasks that are not part of our core operations will be delegated to our GCC or selected partners.”

On the second principle, Adani highlighted a shift in how the group collaborates with contractors. “We view our contractors as long-term partners in nation-building. We will forge stronger and more sustainable partnerships that support their growth, secure their margins, and align their interests with ours, enabling us to complete projects with greater speed, better quality, and ownership.”

The third and most critical principle focuses on prioritizing worker dignity in the transformation process. Adani stated, “Among the approximately 400,000 people working through us and our contractors, about 85% work on the ground at our sites. These are the individuals who turn our plans into reality, and we are committed to treating every worker with respect. This means providing clean living spaces, nutritious meals, medical facilities, a safe working environment, and timely, fair wages.”
