Mumbai, 3 January. The release date for the pan-India silent film Gandhi Tox, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami and Aditi Rao Hydari, has been announced. G Studios revealed that the ambitious and unique film will hit theatres this year.

Vijay Sethupathi’s Gandhi Tox is set to premiere on 30 January. The film is a silent movie with no dialogues. The entire story will be conveyed through acting, expressions and emotions. Alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth Jadhav will also play key roles, bringing their characters to life without any spoken words.

Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swami aim to captivate audiences with their silent performances. Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth Jadhav will strengthen the narrative with deep emotional acting. The film’s music is composed by Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman. Since there are no dialogues, Rahman’s score plays a crucial role in expressing emotions and keeping viewers engaged with the story.

Director Kishore Belekar said, “Gandhi Tox is a film that trusts silence. We want to present pure acting and emotions to Indian cinema. The actors not only understood the theme deeply but fully embraced it. A.R. Rahman’s music became the soul of the film. With the support of G Studios, we have created a bold and wonderful film that audiences will appreciate.”

Gandhi Tox by G Studios is a distinctive silent black comedy. It lightly yet profoundly explores the contrast between Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and the image printed on currency notes. The story revolves around the need for money and its impact on people. Featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth Jadhav, the film will release in theatres on 30 January.
