In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi described the conversation with Chancellor Merz as “very positive and constructive.” He emphasized discussions on how to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, circular economy, defense, IT, and more. They also explored ways to enhance cultural ties between their nations.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared details on X, stating that PM Modi and Chancellor Merz expressed happiness over the renewed pace of the India-Germany strategic partnership, coinciding with the celebration of 75 years of diplomatic relations.
