Four Killed in Road Accident in Bundi District

Jaipur, 20 August (Kiran News). Four people, including a woman, died in a severe road accident in the Dabi police station area of Bundi district on Wednesday early morning. Four others were seriously injured in the incident.

Dabi Police Station Officer Hemraj Sharma stated that the accident took place around 4:30 am on National Highway 27. He said that a collision between a truck and a car resulted in the death of four people, including one woman, while four others sustained serious injuries. Upon receiving information about the accident, police rushed to the spot and the injured were taken to Dabi Hospital by ambulance. They were later referred to the new medical college hospital in Kota.

He further informed that a contractor from Biaora, Madhya Pradesh, was taking all the people by car to work at a factory and temple in Rajsamand Nathdwara. On the Kota-Udaipur highway, in the Dabi area, the car collided with a truck moving ahead. There were a total of eight people in the car. Four died and four were injured in the accident. All the injured were brought to the medical college in Kota for treatment. While undergoing treatment at the hospital, four people died.

Among the deceased are Santosh Verma (27) and Sangeeta (26), husband and wife. Another victim, Anil Sahariya (34), was a resident of Govardhanpura Nargadh, Baran district. The fourth deceased, Devaraj (36), was a resident of Singapura, Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh. The families of the injured have been informed. The post-mortem will be conducted after the relatives arrive.
