Flights to Begin Soon from Halwara Airport, Two Daily Flights to Delhi Announced by Ravneet Singh Bittu

Ludhiana, March 29: Central Minister of Railways and Food Processing Industries, Ravneet Singh Bittu, has shared exciting news for the people of Punjab. He announced that flights will soon commence from Halwara Airport in Ludhiana. This long-awaited development is finally becoming a reality.

Bittu took to social media platform X to describe this moment as a point of pride for Punjab. He informed that flight bookings from Halwara Airport will begin in April, with the first flight expected to take off between May 10 and 15. Initially, an A320 economy aircraft with 160 seats will operate, providing enhanced convenience for travelers.

He also revealed that there will be two daily flights between Delhi and Halwara. One flight will depart in the morning, while the other will be in the afternoon. This will not only ease travel for passengers but also significantly benefit trade and commerce. Until now, residents of Ludhiana and surrounding areas had to travel to Chandigarh or Amritsar for air travel, but the opening of Halwara Airport will alleviate this issue considerably.

On this occasion, Bittu expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the vision and focus on robust infrastructure have made such significant projects possible. He emphasized that this initiative will be a major milestone in Punjab’s development, propelling the state to new heights.

The commencement of this airport will not only simplify travel but will also positively impact Punjab’s economy. It is expected to boost trade, attract new investments, and create job opportunities. This facility will be particularly beneficial for industrial cities like Ludhiana, as local businesses will save time traveling to other parts of the country.
