Patna, March 29: Former Bihar minister and JD(U) leader Shyam Rajak stated on Sunday that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had aspirations to join the Rajya Sabha, as fate would have it. However, he emphasized that this decision has left the people of Bihar disheartened. The citizens do not wish for Nitish Kumar to leave the state.
Rajak mentioned that the Chief Minister himself has expressed his intention to dedicate most of his time to Bihar. It is well-known that Nitish Kumar follows through on his promises.
In a conversation with the media, JD(U) leader Shyam Rajak asserted that Nitish Kumar is dedicated to serving Bihar. He believes that any government formed in the state will operate under Kumar’s guidance. The new government will be steered by Kumar’s vision.
Following the election of BJP National President Nitin Nabin to the Rajya Sabha, Rajak addressed the issue of resignations from the assembly, stating that resignations will occur when the time is right. He assured that everyone will adhere to the necessary procedures.
He pointed out that the ruling party holds a significant majority. Regarding the demand from JD(U) leaders for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant, to take over as Chief Minister, Rajak stated that Nishant is educated and possesses an engineering degree, which equips him to manage administration effectively.
Shyam Rajak, the MLA from Phulwari, expressed his belief that Nishant has all the qualities required to become Chief Minister. He personally wishes for Nishant to assume the role. Additionally, he noted that there are several leaders within the BJP, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, who also have the capability to become Chief Minister. All JD(U) members desire Nishant’s leadership. Ultimately, it will be up to Nitish Kumar and the NDA to make this decision.
