
Patna, August 29: On the occasion of National Sports Day, a ‘Fit India’ run was organized in the Digha Assembly area of Patna, the capital of Bihar. The event was attended by former Governor of Sikkim, Ganga Prasad, Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav, and legislators Sanjeev Chaurasia and Ratnesh Kumar Kushwaha.
Ganga Prasad expressed his views, stating, “This is an excellent event. Young people participated actively. Everyone should strive to stay healthy and inspire others. The aim of this program is to raise awareness and encourage youth to maintain a healthy lifestyle while motivating others to do the same. This is essential for the development of both the state and the nation.”
Legislator Sanjeev Chaurasia mentioned, “On National Sports Day, we launched the ‘Fit Digha, Hit Digha’ initiative through Fit India. Former Governor Ganga Prasad, Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, and legislators Ratnesh Kushwaha and Sanjay Gupta were all present at the event.”
He added, “I want to thank all athletes and participants for committing to stay fit, inspired by the Prime Minister. His ability to remain fit and energetic at this age is truly motivating for all of us. To serve the country for a long time, we must stay fit.”
Legislator Ratnesh Kumar Kushwaha remarked that Sanjeev Chaurasia organized a remarkable event on National Sports Day. He urged all youth to dedicate some time to sports, emphasizing that engaging in sports will ensure good health and enable them to contribute to the nation’s development.
