First Song from Raja Shivaji Released, Showcasing the Grandeur of Hindavi Swarajya

Mumbai, April 15: The highly anticipated historical action-drama ‘Raja Shivaji,’ directed and starred by Riteish Deshmukh, has released its first song titled ‘Raja Shivaji Anthem – Chhatrapati.’ This film is an epic portrayal of the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The song is part of the film’s music album, jointly released by Desh Music and Warner Music India. The renowned music duo Ajay-Atul composed the track, with Ajay Gogavale’s powerful voice adding to its impact. Featuring 80 chorus singers, this anthem expresses the pride, courage, and spirit of Hindavi Swarajya.

Choreographed by Remo D’Souza, this anthem captures a special moment in the film, beautifully blending grandeur and soul. The composers Ajay-Atul shared their thoughts on the song.

They stated, “From the beginning, we knew that even though the song is lengthy, its emotion, authenticity, and reverence are crucial. Each tune carries pride, while also respecting the heritage it represents. When working on such a significant legacy, complete dedication is necessary. If this song gives people goosebumps, that’s great. However, we want it to resonate deeply in people’s hearts and be remembered forever.”

Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, ‘Raja Shivaji’ features a stellar cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Boman Irani, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amol Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles.

The film is set to release on May 1 in Marathi, Hindi, and Telugu across theaters worldwide. It aims to bring to life an epic chapter of Indian history, celebrating the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with grandeur, emotion, and stunning visuals. The film promises not only entertainment but also inspiration for future generations about Swarajya and courage.
