Nikita Gandhi Shares Admiration for Arijit Singhs Journey

Mumbai, April 15: Nikita Gandhi, a versatile singer who has captured the hearts of fans in Bollywood and South Indian cinema, recently expressed her admiration for Arijit Singh. She has collaborated with him on several songs and revealed her deep respect for his journey in a recent interview.

“I am a huge fan of Arijit and I greatly respect his journey and singing,” Nikita stated. “As a versatile singer myself, I am thrilled to have learned so much from his experiences. It is indeed sad that he is currently going through a new phase, but he has accomplished so much and contributed greatly to this industry.”

Reflecting on her own journey, Nikita recalled how she began singing in films before releasing her indie music. “Typically, artists start with indie music and then transition to films, but my path was the opposite. I started singing in Tamil films during my college days without any plans to enter the music industry. However, opportunities arose in both the South Indian and Bollywood industries, and that’s how my career took off.”

Nikita emphasized, “It has been a unique and wonderful journey, as I never dreamed of becoming a singer. I approached it with passion and thoroughly enjoyed my career.”

Discussing the differences between live performances and studio recordings, Nikita noted that both experiences are entirely distinct. “Live shows offer a blend of audience energy that is truly special. Those moments are fleeting, and everyone shares that experience. In contrast, studio recordings focus on perfection. When recording a song, we often take three to four takes until it is just right, as these recordings last forever. Therefore, we strive to make them as good as possible, which requires time and hard work.”
