Mumbai, March 14: A fire erupted at a wood warehouse in the Govandi area of Mumbai on Saturday. The incident occurred near the Kambur Janata Market on PL Lokhandi Road. Upon receiving the alert, fire department teams promptly arrived at the scene to initiate rescue and relief operations.

According to officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade, the fire has been classified as Level-I. Given the severity of the situation, the fire department dispatched six fire engines to the location. Firefighters are actively working to control the blaze to prevent it from spreading to nearby warehouses or shops.

Reports indicate that the warehouse contained a large quantity of wood and other flammable materials. Due to the potential for rapid fire spread, the fire department took precautionary measures by deploying additional resources to the site.
