BJP Leader Tarun Chugh Criticizes Oppositions Dual Standards on Student Issues

Chennai, August 18: BJP leader Tarun Chugh addressed various issues during a press conference on Tuesday. He expressed disappointment over the behavior of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal during student protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Chugh stated that while both leaders were vocal in their opposition, they remained silent when students raised their voices in Jharkhand. He pointed out that neither leader spoke up for the students’ interests, highlighting a clear double standard. “It is evident that these leaders have a dual character, which cannot be accepted under any circumstances. They have shown that their public persona differs greatly from their true intentions regarding student issues,” he remarked.

He emphasized that the BJP is a cadre-based organization committed to consistent work. “BJP leaders and workers strive every day to enhance the party’s prosperity, which should be seen as a positive sign for everyone. Here, it is not just about individuals, but about ideas and organization,” he added.

Chugh noted that training is a vital aspect of their operational methodology, where they discuss party ideologies and frameworks. “We utilize this to foster our party’s growth and will soon initiate similar programs across the state,” he mentioned.

He concluded by stating that the BJP has emerged as a significant alternative for the public. “People love PM Modi, and trust in the BJP is growing in Tamil Nadu. They believe that if any party can bring about change in the state, it is the BJP,” he asserted.
