Banswara: Passengers travelling on Rajasthan Roadways buses will now have to pay more, as the corporation has increased fares across all categories. Conductors demanding higher fares are now following the revised rates issued by the corporation, which have been raised by 10 to 20 paise per passenger per kilometre. This has led to an increase of ₹2 to ₹10 on various routes in the district.

From Banswara headquarters, the highest fare hike is on the Kushalgarh and Anandpuri routes, where passengers will now pay ₹10 more. However, there is no increase in fares for the Banswara–Bagidora route. The revised fares will also affect passengers travelling at concessional rates. On long-distance routes, the hike is more significant. For example, a trip to Jaipur on an ordinary bus will now cost ₹565 instead of ₹510, while the deluxe fare has gone up from ₹555 to ₹615.
Following the increase, passengers travelling anywhere in the district will have to pay at least ₹5 more. While most routes have seen a ₹5–₹10 rise, fares for Bagidora and Ghatol remain unchanged. Women passengers will also have to pay ₹1 more.
