
Nice, June 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in France, generating significant excitement among the Indian community residing there. He is set to inaugurate the ‘India Innovates 2026’ event. Many Indians in France expressed their enthusiasm about the Prime Minister’s visit to a news agency.
Sudeep Bera, an Indian citizen working in Nice, shared, “We feel immense pride. I am from India. Until yesterday, I was watching the Prime Minister on TV, but now I have the chance to see him in person. It’s a great honor to see him up close. I am from Kolkata, and I missed the opportunity to meet him when he visited Kolkata before the elections, but now I will meet him.”
Another citizen remarked on the significance of PM Modi’s visit, stating, “It feels great that he is here. He will also give a speech. We Indians will get to see him. There will be discussions between PM Modi and the French President. This is wonderful. The Indian community here is very excited.”
Shubham Gosai, an Indian chef in Nice, expressed his happiness, saying, “We are very pleased. The Prime Minister’s visit enhances our relationships abroad. Thanks to him, we receive a lot of respect. Indians work everywhere and are well-regarded. Since Modi Ji took office, India’s image has improved significantly. Nowadays, everyone knows about India.
