DRDO-DEBEL Invites Applications for 28 Graduate Apprentice Positions

Bengaluru, May 7: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) – Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL) has announced an official notification for the recruitment of 28 Graduate Apprentice positions on a contractual basis for a duration of one year.

The available positions include 7 in Mechanical Engineering, 6 in Electronics/ECE/E&I, 3 in Computer Science/Information Technology, 4 in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry, 4 in Biomedical Engineering, and 1 each in Textile Engineering, Library Science, Physics, and Accounting.

The online application process commenced on April 23, with the deadline set for May 20. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official website until the specified last date.

Applicants must hold a relevant degree such as BE/BTech/BSc or BLib/BLISc or BCom from a recognized institution or university.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on merit, shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300, with a potential joining date of July 1.

Before applying online, candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. They should then visit the web portal through the link provided in the notification, fill in the required information, upload all necessary documents in the correct size, and submit the registration form. Finally, candidates should print a copy of the application form for future reference.
