Jammu, July 29: The ongoing Amarnath Yatra has drawn a significant number of devotees to the renowned Tali Mata Temple, located near the international border in Jammu and Kashmir. Long queues of pilgrims are visible at the temple, and the area resonates with chants of devotion. Visitors have expressed that they find the atmosphere here to be peaceful, pleasant, and secure.
The temple priest shared that the temple is situated right on the zero line. Devotees travel from far and wide to seek blessings, believing that the goddess fulfills their wishes. He noted that the chants from the temple can even be heard across the border in Pakistan.
Naveen Sharma, a resident of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, mentioned that he visits the temple annually to participate in community feasts. He assured that despite the proximity to the international border, the situation remains stable. He encouraged more people to visit and seek the goddess’s blessings.
He also stated that anyone who comes to the temple with a wish finds it fulfilled. He added that even during times of gunfire near the border, the temple remains unharmed. Naveen remarked that the echoes of their chants can be heard in Pakistani territory as well.
Rajiv Gupta from Farrukhabad shared that he came to Jammu to visit Baba Amarnath. After his visit, he learned about the nearby Kali Mata Temple, which is quite famous. He emphasized that despite serious tensions between the two countries, the temple and surrounding villages have never faced harm.
He expressed his amazement and excitement upon hearing about the temple’s faith, which promises that anyone who bows their head here will have their wishes granted.
A female devotee from Bareilly stated, “I came to visit Baba Amarnath and stayed in Jammu to explore. When the discussion arose, we decided to visit the Kali Mata Temple. This is my first time here.”
