New Delhi, March 28: On the occasion of Ram Navami, a significant Sun Tilak ceremony took place at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), shared his thoughts on social media platform X, describing the event as an extraordinary and unparalleled sight.
Bansal expressed that the Sun God manifested at this magnificent temple, bestowing a tilak on the forehead of Lord Shri Ram, the king of the Solar dynasty. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the entire Hindu community for their 500 years of struggle, sacrifice, and unwavering efforts, and thanked the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for allowing everyone to witness such a remarkable event.
He quoted, “Bipra dhenu sur sant hit leena manuj avatar. Nij ichha nirmit tanu maya gun go paar.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in the celebrations, viewing the sacred Sun Tilak ceremony via television from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. He prayed for the welfare of the nation, expressing his hope that Lord Ram’s blessings continue to shine upon all.
On social media, Modi noted that he witnessed the Sun Tilak ceremony at Ayodhya and wished for the divine blessings of Lord Shri Ram to remain with everyone.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commented on X, stating that the golden Sun Tilak, resting on the divine forehead of Lord Ram, symbolizes faith, self-respect, and spirituality. He emphasized that this tilak awakens the eternal consciousness of Sanatan culture, igniting a commitment to reverence, strength, and self-esteem in the hearts of the people of India. Adityanath remarked that this event reconnects India with its core essence.
He added that the divine light of Lord Shri Ram’s Sun Tilak guides the visions of a developed and self-reliant India, affirming that where there is Ram, there is a path, illuminating India with its brilliance.
