New Delhi, March 31: Dinesh Sharma, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has launched a scathing attack on Congress and opposition parties regarding Naxalism and national politics. He praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent speech on Naxalism as “historic,” asserting that it provided a detailed factual rebuttal to Congress’s allegations.
In an interview, Sharma stated, “The Home Minister delivered a historic address. He systematically debunked the accusations made by the Congress Party with facts and precision, leaving them with no counterarguments. The Congress has resorted to mere shouting. They have long supported Naxalism, and this is not a new revelation. Now that the truth about Congress is surfacing, they seem troubled. They have been backing anarchists for their own gain, and the exposure by Home Minister Amit Shah is being widely discussed across India. The true face of Naxalism is now evident to the nation.”
Sharma emphasized that the support for Naxalism from behind the scenes has allowed it to grow unchecked. “As public support wanes, they are spreading misinformation against us. Gradually, their masks are coming off. The reality of Congress is becoming clearer to the country,” he added.
Targeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Sharma declared, “Neither ‘Didi’ will remain in Bengal, nor will ‘Bhaiya’ come to Uttar Pradesh. If Didi is satisfied, that’s good, but the people of Bengal will only be happy when the BJP comes to power.”
He noted that the public in West Bengal is frustrated with the Mamata government. “No one listens to their problems. If anyone approaches with an issue, they are sent back. The people have made up their minds to replace the Mamata government with a BJP administration to resolve their issues. Similarly, the Samajwadi Party will not return to power in Uttar Pradesh. The public knows that there is no security under the SP government, whereas the current BJP government is ensuring safety and addressing their concerns.”
