Lucknow, February 16: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya held a ‘Janata Darshan’ at his official residence today, prior to the assembly session. A large number of citizens from various districts presented their issues and grievances during this event.

Maurya met with each petitioner individually, patiently listening to their concerns. The primary issues raised included land disputes, requests for police assistance, financial aid for health treatments, and local development projects.

The Deputy Chief Minister promptly directed the officials present, including district magistrates and police superintendents, to resolve these public issues efficiently and within a set timeframe.

Maurya emphasized that the government is committed to being accessible to the public and that no poor or helpless individual should face injustice. He sternly warned officials that negligence in addressing complaints would not be tolerated.

He reiterated that resolving public grievances is the state’s top priority, and the purpose of ‘Janata Darshan’ is to bridge the gap between the government and the citizens.

He also shared updates on social media, stating, “Through ‘Janata Darshan’ at the camp office, 7 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow, I met with citizens from various districts, listened to their problems, and provided necessary instructions to the relevant officials for prompt resolution.”

After the ‘Janata Darshan’, the Deputy Chief Minister proceeded to participate in the assembly proceedings. Departmental officials and dignitaries were also present at the event.
