New Delhi, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Job seekers in the medical field have reason to celebrate as Lok Nayak Hospital in New Delhi has announced openings for 64 senior resident positions across various departments. An official notification has detailed the available roles, which encompass a wide range of specialties.
The positions include one in Radiology, eight in Medicine, one in Biochemistry, eight in General Surgery, nine in Burns and Plastic Surgery, six in Obstetrics and Gynecology, nine in Pediatrics, one in Neonatology, one in Microbiology, one in Radiotherapy, twelve in Neurosurgery, one in Neuro-Anesthesia, four in Anesthesia, one in Clinical Pathology, and one in Medical Genetics.
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview and document verification process. Successful candidates can expect a salary ranging from ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700 per month, classified under pay level 11.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree, DNB, diploma, or postdoctoral degree in the relevant specialty, along with an MBBS. The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 45 years, calculated as of July 1, 2026. Those from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government guidelines.
Walk-in interviews will take place on the second and last Tuesday of each month at the Conference Hall of the Medical Director’s office at Lok Nayak Hospital, starting at 10:30 AM. Candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring both original documents and photocopies.
It is important to note that these senior resident positions are on an ad-hoc basis for 44 days, with the possibility of extension up to three years or until regular senior residents are appointed, in accordance with the Government of India’s residency scheme.
