New Delhi, July 1: Vice President CP Radhakrishnan took to the social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday to share three distinct messages. He extended birthday wishes to former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and congratulated doctors and chartered accountants across the nation on the occasions of Doctors’ Day and Chartered Accountants’ Day.
In his message for Venkaiah Naidu’s birthday, Vice President Radhakrishnan expressed heartfelt wishes, describing him as a visionary leader and esteemed politician. He acknowledged Naidu’s unwavering dedication to nation-building, respect for parliamentary traditions, and continuous efforts for the welfare of marginalized communities. Radhakrishnan wished him a healthy, long, and happy life.
On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, the Vice President praised the dedication, skill, and humanitarian service of all doctors in the country. He noted that India has made remarkable progress in healthcare over the past few years.
He highlighted significant achievements, including the world’s largest vaccination campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic, the expansion of affordable healthcare services through initiatives like Ayushman Bharat, strengthening health infrastructure nationwide, and the rapid growth of digital health services.
Vice President Radhakrishnan remarked that even in the most challenging circumstances, doctors have exemplified duty, sacrifice, and compassion by saving lives, advancing medical science through research and innovation, and serving humanity. He expressed gratitude for the contributions of the medical community and wished them a bright future.
Additionally, on Chartered Accountants’ Day, the Vice President congratulated all chartered accountants in the country. He emphasized their crucial role in India’s economic progress, stating that they strengthen accountability with integrity, transparency, and professional values, empowering institutions and significantly contributing to the growth of industry and commerce.
Radhakrishnan announced that he would participate in the 78th Chartered Accountants’ Day ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan on Wednesday at 6 PM, where he would share his thoughts related to the profession and honor the spirit of excellence and service.
