Bhopal, April 18: The Congress party is actively working to strengthen its grassroots presence in Madhya Pradesh through a series of strategic meetings. Senior leaders are emphasizing the importance of reaching out to villages and households to communicate the party’s policies effectively.
Recently, a significant meeting was held at Indira Bhavan in the state capital, where all district in-charges gathered to discuss upcoming strategies. The focus was on reinforcing the party’s presence at the grassroots level and empowering the organization.
Prominent figures in attendance included state president Jitu Patwari, state in-charge Harish Chaudhary, state vice-president Sukdev Pansé, All India Congress Committee secretary Usha Naidu, and senior district in-charges.
Earlier, a conference for block presidents took place at Ravindra Bhavan, where block leaders from across the state participated. The conference provided an in-depth presentation on the roles, responsibilities, and contributions of block presidents.
Jitu Patwari emphasized that the Congress party has been out of power for the last 25 years, urging party workers to intensify their efforts. He stated that the goal is to connect with at least 30,000 families at the booth and block levels to strengthen the organization. The focus should not be on attaining positions but on ensuring the party’s return to power.
He highlighted the pressing issues in Madhya Pradesh, such as debt, crime, and corruption, calling for collective action to address these challenges. The party has decided that from April 25 to May 25, designated assembly in-charges will visit their respective constituencies to verify the executive committee. After May 25, a convention will be held in every block, named the Jan Samvad program, where senior leaders, including state in-charges, will engage with party members.
