Congress MP Karambir Singh Baudh Defends Rahul Gandhi Amid Modis Failed Product Remarks

Congress MP Karambir Singh Baudh defends Rahul Gandhis fight for the Constitution, responding to PM Modis failed product comments.

New Delhi, October 23 (Daily Kiran) : Congress member of the Rajya Sabha, Karambir Singh Baudh, has launched a strong rebuttal against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks about “failed products.” Speaking from New Delhi, Baudh emphasized that Rahul Gandhi is engaged in a crucial battle to protect the Constitution and democracy, a cause that resonates with a significant portion of the population.

In response to Modi’s comments, Baudh criticized the government’s handling of the media, alleging that it has been manipulated through substantial debts. He remarked, “You talk disparagingly about a person who embodies true patriotism and loyalty to the Constitution, advocating for equality and compassion.”

Baudh accused the Prime Minister of fostering division between Hindus and Muslims while burdening the nation with debt. He questioned the government’s promises regarding inflation, corruption, black money, and taxes, urging Modi to reflect on his past statements before assuming office. “You keep asking for five years, then 60 days, and now you speak of a vision for 2047,” he stated.

He highlighted that the Congress party has laid the foundation for many national resources and institutions, which are now being handed over to private entities. “While Rahul Gandhi speaks of saving the Constitution, it seems to disturb you,” Baudh said, asserting that Gandhi is leading the most significant struggle for the nation’s democratic values.

The Congress MP also criticized the government’s response to violence against children, calling for accountability. He challenged the ruling party to compare their achievements with those of the Congress, stating, “When you speak of dreams for 2047, it seems like a hollow promise to those who may not even be here to witness it.”

Baudh claimed that the government has undermined constitutional institutions and manipulated electoral processes. He expressed concern over the autonomy of the police and civil services, stating that officials feel powerless under the current regime.

He concluded by asserting that the opposition’s duty is to protect the nation and uphold democracy. “As long as Parliament is in session, we will continue to fight for our principles,” he declared, reaffirming the commitment to safeguard the Constitution and democracy.
