New Delhi, June 21: Congress MP Imran Masood has launched a fierce attack on the central government regarding the Ram Temple fund controversy, the Great Nicobar Island Development Project, and the re-examination of the NEET exam. He accused the government of implementing policies that adversely affect the poor, Dalits, tribals, backward classes, and minorities in the country.
Addressing the irregularities in the funds received for the construction of the Ram Temple, Masood stated that the issue is extremely serious. He emphasized, “This is not just theft; it is robbery. This is not a matter of a few rupees being stolen; it is a significant heist. Only Ram knows the truth.”
In response to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s allegations against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the opposition to the Great Nicobar Island Development Project, Masood remarked that the government is engaged in selling off the nation’s assets. He warned, “If this continues, what will happen to the tribals, Dalits, backward classes, and especially Muslims and other minorities in our country? You are creating an environment where 90% of the population will be enslaved while 10% will rule. This is the direction in which you are leading the nation.”
On the ongoing controversy surrounding the NEET exam and the decision for a re-examination, Masood expressed hope that the arrangements would be better this time. However, he held the central government accountable for incidents of paper leaks, stating, “May Allah ensure improvements. How many children have committed suicide due to paper leaks? This government is responsible for their deaths.”
