Congress MP Imran Masood Criticizes BJP Governments Failures in Saharanpur
Imran Masood claims the BJP government is facing protests for the first time, highlighting failures on immigration and pollution issues.

Saharanpur, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Congress MP Imran Masood has launched a scathing attack on the BJP government during a recent event in Saharanpur. He criticized the administration for its handling of issues related to illegal immigrants and the ongoing campaign titled “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy.” Masood stated that the government’s need to protest for the first time signifies a victory for the opposition.
Speaking about the meeting with Swami Prasad Maurya, the Congress in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, Masood remarked, “If they choose to meet, that’s their decision. Our party will determine who to engage with internally.” He acknowledged Akhilesh Yadav as a key leader within the India Bloc but emphasized that Congress has its own agenda.
On the topic of illegal immigration, Masood expressed concern over the alleged presence of three crore infiltrators in the country, attributing this to the Home Minister’s incompetence. He questioned why these individuals have not been deported if their numbers are indeed so high. “These infiltrators seem to appear during elections and then vanish. How long will this issue persist? Twelve years is not a short time; how many have been identified?” he asked.
Referring to the BJP’s campaign, he reiterated that the government’s first-time protests are a sign of their failures. “The demonstrations in Delhi are a testament to our success,” he added.
Masood also addressed environmental concerns, particularly pollution in the national capital, stressing the need for public awareness regarding this pressing issue. He called it a significant challenge linked to nature.
In response to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s comments about the Constitution, he asserted that the Constitution should be respected, regardless of its interpretation or color.
