No Place for Swami Prasad Maurya in Samajwadi Party, Says Avadhesh Prasad
Samajwadi Party MP Avadhesh Prasad asserts Swami Prasad Maurya has no future in the party, responding to recent statements.

Lucknow, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Avadhesh Prasad has firmly stated that there is no future for former party leader Swami Prasad Maurya within the SP. His comments come in response to recent statements made by Maurya, which Prasad deemed unworthy of consideration. He emphasized that the party leadership, including National President Akhilesh Yadav, has thoroughly evaluated Maurya’s remarks and concluded that he no longer has a place in the party.
Prasad explained that Akhilesh Yadav’s position on Maurya is clear. “One does not re-evaluate what has already been assessed. The SP and our leader Akhilesh Yadav have fully scrutinized Swami Prasad Maurya,” he stated. He added that the party understands the relevance and irrelevance of Maurya’s comments, leading Yadav to decisively indicate that there is no room for Maurya in the SP.
In response to Maurya’s assertion that Yadav is merely a part of the Indy coalition and not its entirety, Prasad countered that the entire nation recognizes Yadav as one of the key leaders of the coalition. He underscored Yadav’s significant role and political stature, which are well-known.
Prasad also expressed displeasure regarding Maurya’s derogatory remark about Yadav, stating that such language is inappropriate. He remarked, “Swami Prasad should refrain from making such statements. He has worked with us and has been in a leadership position. Such comments reflect a narrow mindset.”
Furthermore, Prasad accused Maurya of struggling to establish his political presence within the Indy coalition, suggesting that his recent statements are attempts to garner attention. “No one is asking about him anymore,” Prasad noted, asserting that disparaging remarks about former colleagues are not suitable.
On a related note, Prasad addressed the issue of the electoral process, stating that the Samajwadi Party is actively working to raise awareness among the public. He mentioned that Akhilesh Yadav and other leaders are presenting evidence of voter list discrepancies, yet the Election Commission has not taken meaningful action.
He concluded by asserting that the Samajwadi Party will continue to advocate for voters’ rights and urged the Election Commission to address these concerns seriously.
