Union Minister Krishna Pal Gurjar Criticizes Opposition During Rally in Gurudaspur
Krishna Pal Gurjar accuses opposition of creating chaos in India during a BJP rally in Gurudaspur, emphasizing the strength of Indian democracy.

Gurudaspur, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Union Minister Krishna Pal Gurjar participated in a rally organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gurudaspur, Punjab, on November 3. The event, titled “Save Democracy, Remove Chaos,” attracted thousands of supporters. During his speech, Gurjar accused the Congress party and other opposition groups of fostering an atmosphere of disorder in the country.
He emphasized that India is not Bangladesh or Nepal, urging opposition leaders not to harbor any misconceptions. According to Gurjar, the BJP is conducting similar rallies across the nation as part of their campaign to uphold democracy and eliminate chaos.
Gurjar claimed that the opposition’s actions are aimed at hindering India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He pointed out that certain forces, both within and outside the country, are uncomfortable with India’s growing economic strength and its efforts to strengthen its heritage. He asserted that these forces are attempting to undermine democracy but will ultimately fail in their endeavors.
Highlighting the democratic nature of India, Gurjar stated that any change in power has always occurred through public mandate. He noted that the opposition is currently disheartened, realizing that they cannot come to power through elections, leading them to disrupt the nation’s atmosphere.
Gurjar criticized Congress for allegedly failing to respect the Constitution, claiming that while opposition parties possess copies of the Constitution, they lack genuine respect for it. He accused Congress and its allies of undermining constitutional authority during their time in power, disregarding Supreme Court rulings, and attacking constitutional institutions.
Responding to the opposition’s allegations of vote theft, Gurjar recounted a time when ballot boxes were stolen in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and innocent voters were even killed. He contrasted this with the current electoral process under Modi’s leadership, where no booth has required re-voting in several states, including Bihar and Bengal.
Concerned about the situation in Punjab, Gurjar criticized both Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party. He accused Congress of plunging the state into drug addiction, while the Aam Aadmi Party has worsened the situation. He described the drug problem in Punjab as severe, with residents living in fear.
Gurjar asserted that only the BJP can rescue Punjab from the grips of drug abuse and fear. He referenced promises made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, stating that the BJP government has fulfilled commitments regarding issues like Naxalism, Article 370, and triple talaq. He vowed that the BJP will also work to make Punjab drug-free and safe.
