Jaipur, June 20: Congress leader Harish Chaudhary has targeted the BJP government, citing multiple issues affecting the nation. In a press conference, he stated that the central government has failed across all sectors. As the upcoming agricultural season approaches, various crises are emerging. Farmers are struggling to access fertilizers, and students face a bleak future. Institutions like NEET and CBSE have collapsed, and small businesses are on the brink of closure. Laborers are not receiving their wages, and schemes like MGNREGA have been systematically dismantled. Entrepreneurs are also facing significant challenges.
Chaudhary emphasized that our ancestors worked to protect the Thar region, but nature has not been kind. He lamented that political gains are being sought under the guise of national security, calling it unfortunate. “We will fight for our Thar, from Parliament to the streets, demanding the security of our borders,” he asserted.
He pointed out that those familiar with the border situation are aware of the significance of the Tanot Mata temple located nearby. “What are you trying to prove with such records? The national security forces played a crucial role in the temple’s establishment. Anyone from any community can confirm this,” he stated. He criticized the current attacks on historical facts, suggesting that there is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. “We will not allow anyone to divert attention from national issues,” he added.
Chaudhary concluded by stating that the Thar region is well aware of the encroachments and their motives. “Do not attack the identity of the Thar region. Do not trample on it for the sake of power and greed. The identity of Thar is under threat, and we are working to protect it.”
