Ballia, February 25: The political landscape in Uttar Pradesh has heated up following the arrest of Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu during protests at the AI Summit. The Congress party has been vocal in its opposition to this incident.
Minister Danish Azad Ansari sharply criticized the Congress, claiming they attempted to embarrass the nation at the AI Summit. He stated that the public would respond to these actions.
In an interview with a news agency, Ansari emphasized that such significant global events enhance the country’s reputation. However, he condemned Congress activists for staging protests and causing a scene, which he described as shameful for India.
He labeled these protests as extremely unfortunate and insisted that such actions are unacceptable. Ansari noted that there is public discontent regarding this issue, and when it comes to the nation’s image, all political parties should unite. He asserted that the public would certainly hold Congress accountable for their behavior.
Additionally, Ansari supported the regulations regarding meat shops near religious sites implemented in Bihar. He stressed that these shops should operate according to set standards, ensuring cleanliness and preventing waste from entering drainage systems to avoid pollution. He called for cooperation from all sections of society to maintain both cleanliness and law and order.
Responding to Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav‘s statement about bringing 100 legislators to become Chief Minister, Ansari remarked that the Samajwadi Party is left with only rhetoric. He accused them of attempting to mislead society with such claims.
He reminded that the people of the state had rejected the Samajwadi Party in the 2017 and 2022 assembly elections, and he predicted that the outcome would be no different in 2027. According to him, these statements reflect the party’s desperation and disappointment. He claimed that the Yogi government has been working diligently for the comprehensive development of Uttar Pradesh.
