Iranian Embassy in India Shares Bank Details for Donations Amid Ongoing Conflict

New Delhi, March 15: Amid escalating tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, the Iranian Embassy in India has released bank details for donations. This initiative comes in response to appeals from the Indian public for humanitarian assistance to those affected by the ongoing conflict.

The Iranian Embassy posted on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Following repeated requests from our Indian brothers and sisters to contribute and offer goodwill, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi announces its bank account details for cash donations to provide humanitarian aid to Iranian citizens impacted by the ongoing war. Bank Account Name: Embassy of Iran, Account Number: 11084232535, IFSC Code: SBIN0000691.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that Iranian missiles struck northern and southern Israel around 2:30 PM. In the southern city of Eilat, several incidents occurred due to cluster munitions. Following the missile attacks, MDA EMTs and paramedics provided medical treatment and transported two individuals injured by shrapnel to Yoseftal Hospital.

MDA indicated that a 12-year-old boy is in serious condition but conscious, while a 39-year-old man is in stable condition with injuries to his head and limbs.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif spoke with Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena regarding the U.S.-Israel attacks. The Iranian Foreign Ministry reported that Zarif discussed the recent military actions against Iran and thanked Sri Lanka for assisting in the rescue of crew members from the Iranian vessel Dena, which was attacked on March 4, and for retrieving the bodies of 84 sailors who perished.

Media reports suggest that the U.S. has requested Sri Lanka not to return the surviving Iranian sailors after the attacks. Iran’s Tasnim News Agency has urged residents in the UAE to evacuate areas around Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah Port immediately.

The agency warned, “These areas have become prime targets due to the presence of U.S. military forces and are expected to be targeted in the coming hours.”
