Lucknow, June 10: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking his 12 years of successful governance dedicated to national service, good governance, and public welfare.
In a letter shared on the social media platform X, CM Adityanath stated, “On behalf of all the residents of the state, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on your remarkable 12-year tenure dedicated to national service, good governance, and public welfare. On this proud occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to building a ‘developed Uttar Pradesh’ under your inspiring leadership and continuous guidance, contributing our best to nation-building.”
In his letter, Yogi emphasized the significant achievements of Uttar Pradesh under PM Modi’s leadership. He noted that the state has become a remarkable blend of faith and economy. The establishment of Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, the successful restoration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas” have provided new direction, momentum, and confidence to India’s development over the past 12 years. The nation has set new benchmarks for service, security, good governance, and prosperity.
Yogi highlighted that Uttar Pradesh is playing a leading role in realizing the vision of a ‘developed India’ through unprecedented achievements in public welfare, good governance, and inclusive development.
He further noted that the benefits of welfare schemes initiated under PM Modi’s leadership have reached millions of citizens in Uttar Pradesh. The Swachh Bharat Mission has led to the construction of over 30 million toilets, while the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has provided permanent housing to approximately 6.5 million families. The Ayushman Bharat scheme has granted health security to around 100 million eligible citizens. Additionally, the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the National Food Security Act have provided free rations to about 150 million people. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has liberated 18.6 million women from smoke, and over 30 million farmers have received direct financial assistance through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Various farmer-friendly programs have significantly contributed to agricultural production, productivity, and farmers’ income.
Yogi also mentioned that under PM Modi’s guidance, Uttar Pradesh has achieved remarkable milestones in employment and skill development. The Mission Employment initiative has provided transparent and fair recruitment to over 900,000 youths in government services. Skill development programs have trained and placed 2.5 million youths according to industry needs. Investment-driven industrial development, MSMEs, ODOP, startups, and self-employment schemes have created over 3 million jobs and self-employment opportunities, making the youth a key partner in the state’s development journey.
Under your visionary leadership, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a leading state in modern infrastructure. The Delhi-Meerut 12-lane expressway, the first inland waterway in the country, and modern rail services like Vande Bharat have significantly improved the state’s connectivity. Today, Uttar Pradesh is recognized as the ‘Expressway State’ due to its world-class expressway network. The Smart City Mission, modern airports, metro projects, logistics networks, and industrial corridors have accelerated investment, trade, tourism, and industrial activities, elevating the state’s economy.
Yogi concluded by stating that under PM Modi’s inspiration, Uttar Pradesh has established the rule of law. The state is now recognized for its mafia-free, riot-free, and fear-free environment. Traders, investors, and women feel secure. Improved law and order and an investment-friendly atmosphere have made Uttar Pradesh one of the most attractive investment destinations in the country.
As a result of these efforts, Uttar Pradesh’s economy has tripled since 2017, with per capita income also tripling and the unemployment rate dropping from approximately 18% to around 3%. The state is rapidly progressing towards a one trillion dollar economy and is playing a leading role in building a ‘developed India.’
