NDA Leaders Criticize Congress Over Low Turnout at Opposition Rally

NDA leaders target Congress for low rally attendance, defending PM Modi against Rahul Gandhis remarks on his leadership.

New Delhi, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : NDA leaders have taken aim at the Congress party following a disappointing turnout at an opposition rally. They highlighted the lack of public support as a sign of the opposition’s declining influence. BJP leaders responded sharply to comments made by Rahul Gandhi regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing Modi’s commitment to the nation.

Shiv Sena leader Anand Dubey questioned why the expected crowd did not materialize. He asserted that the public has realized that opposition leaders prioritize their personal interests over the defense of democracy. According to Dubey, this shift in public perception is why the opposition struggles to garner the anticipated support.

“Why didn’t the expected crowd show up? People understand these leaders are not interested in saving democracy. They only care about their families, their wealth, and their political survival,” Dubey stated.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, BJP MP Damodar Das Agrawal expressed skepticism about Gandhi’s political future. He suggested that the public is questioning Gandhi’s credibility, especially in light of his repeated electoral defeats.

Agrawal speculated that Gandhi might be concerned about facing legal repercussions related to the National Herald case, leading him to make disparaging comments about Modi. “The people worry that after continuous losses, Rahul Gandhi might flee to Italy due to legal fears,” he said, implying that Gandhi’s remarks stem from this anxiety.

He reiterated that Prime Minister Modi, who was born and raised in India, is dedicated to serving the nation and has vowed to continue his service until his last breath.

Agrawal also addressed comments made by Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the opposition’s rally coinciding with the anniversary of the 1984 Sikh riots. He recalled witnessing the violence against the Sikh community firsthand and criticized the Congress for selecting such a date for their political event.

“Instead of organizing a rally on this date, Congress should apologize to the public and the Sikh community for the events of 1984,” Agrawal remarked.

BJP national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain echoed Agrawal’s sentiments, asserting that Prime Minister Modi is not going anywhere. He emphasized Modi’s unwavering dedication to serving India and enhancing the country’s global reputation.

“Prime Minister Modi is a devoted son of Mother India, committed to the nation’s progress and development,” Hussain concluded, highlighting the positive trajectory under Modi’s leadership.
