Bhopal, June 15: In a significant boost for the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the release of over ₹360 crore in incentives to 900 industrial units in a single click on Sunday. He also approved all outstanding dues for MSME units up to March 31, 2026.
Through this digital initiative, the Chief Minister allocated ₹2.02 crore in assistance for units installing Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs). Additionally, under a special package, ₹1.07 crore was refunded as mandi fees, and ₹3.69 crore was provided to 11 units for electricity tariff support.
During the event, Yadav distributed loan approvals and land allotment letters under the ‘Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana’ and the ‘Startup Policy 2025’.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh now boasts over 2.4 million MSME units, employing more than 12.5 million people. Notably, over 441,000 of these units are led by women, which he described as a remarkable example of women’s empowerment.
He announced that the government plans to allocate ₹4,500 crore over the next two and a half years to strengthen the MSME sector.
Under the MSME Development Policy, units can receive incentives of up to 40% on investments (60% for food processing units), with an additional 8% support for SC, ST, and women entrepreneurs.
Yadav mentioned that land is being offered at concessional rates following regulatory simplifications. In the past two and a half years, 30 new industrial areas and 14 clusters have been approved, with 1,063 plots allocated. The goal is to develop 60 new industrial areas and clusters and allocate over 6,000 plots in the future.
The Chief Minister also noted that Madhya Pradesh has achieved a leader category status in the national startup ranking. The state now hosts over 7,400 startups, with nearly 50% led by women, equating to over 3,400 enterprises.
Under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, loans exceeding ₹1,630 crore have been approved for more than 23,500 youths.
During the event, representatives from various industrial organizations honored the Chief Minister. CM Mohan Yadav also engaged in discussions with prominent entrepreneurs, alongside MSME Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap and Principal Secretary Raghvendra Singh.
