
Geneva, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : The 63rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council took place recently in Geneva, Switzerland. During this session, China organized several participatory programs aimed at exchanging ideas on human rights development and action plans.
One notable event was co-hosted by China’s permanent mission in Geneva and the International Exchange Promotion Association. The program focused on “Empowering Human Rights Development through Artificial Intelligence.” It aimed to discuss ways to enhance global AI governance and contribute to the protection of human rights.
A Chinese representative emphasized China’s commitment to responding to the calls of the Global South. They stated that China aims to unite the international community in promoting the use of artificial intelligence for the protection of human rights.
Additionally, a program titled “Neurodiversity and Digital Inclusion” was jointly organized by the Beijing Guangming Charity Foundation and the International Exchange Promotion Association. This event brought together professionals from China and abroad to discuss eliminating digital exclusion and protecting the rights of neurodiverse groups, sharing practical experiences in advocating for neurodiversity.
Furthermore, a co-program titled “National Human Rights Action Plans from a Multidimensional Perspective” was held, organized by the Chinese Human Rights Research Institute and the Human Rights Research Center of Central South University. Chinese and foreign experts explored various approaches to formulating and implementing national human rights action plans from different perspectives.
