China Unveils Official Logo for Shenzhou-23 Manned Space Mission

Beijing, May 12: China’s Manned Space Engineering Office has officially released the logo for the Shenzhou-23 manned space mission.

The logo features a circular design, showcasing the Shenzhou-23 spacecraft docking with the Chinese space station. The three stars depicted in the logo symbolize the three astronauts participating in the mission.

On the left side of the logo, a scene of the Long March-2F rocket launch is illustrated, incorporating traditional auspicious clouds and other lucky symbols. On the right, the design features ‘Feitian,’ which represents a flying figure and a flowing ribbon.

The primary color of the logo is a technical blue, symbolizing space exploration, complemented by Chinese red, adding a unique charm to the overall design.

Notably, in 2026, China plans to conduct two manned space missions and one cargo mission. As part of the Shenzhou-23 mission, an astronaut will participate in an experiment involving a year-long stay in space.
