Gorakhpur, May 6: During his visit to Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with citizens at the Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday morning. This was the second consecutive day of his public outreach program. He listened to the concerns of individuals seeking financial assistance for serious medical treatments.
In response to their needs, he inquired about the Ayushman Card and assured them that the government would provide substantial support for their medical care. The Chief Minister instructed the officials present to ensure that every eligible individual receives an Ayushman Card, alleviating any difficulties they might face in accessing treatment.
During the public meeting held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, CM Yogi interacted with approximately 200 attendees. He listened to their issues and reviewed their petitions, taking note of their complaints.
He reassured the public, stating that they should not worry, as the government stands with every needy person. He directed the relevant administrative and police officials to address all issues in a timely, fair, and satisfactory manner. As in previous meetings, several individuals sought financial help for medical treatments.
The Chief Minister asked them about the Ayushman Card and assured them that no one would be denied treatment due to lack of funds. Financial assistance would be provided from discretionary funds as soon as hospital estimates are received. He emphasized to the officials that every pain of the public must be addressed without any delay.
Some women attended the meeting with their children. The Chief Minister affectionately interacted with the children, giving them blessings and chocolates. He also shared light-hearted moments with two children accompanying a woman, encouraging them to pursue their education.
