Bhopal, August 9: The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign has officially commenced, aimed at instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride among citizens. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched this initiative from his residence in Bhopal on Sunday.
During the launch, CM Yadav hoisted the national flag and participated in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ held at the TT Nagar Stadium in Bhopal.
Speaking to the media, CM Yadav reflected on the historical significance of the campaign, stating, “In 1942, Mahatma Gandhi initiated the ‘Quit India Movement.’ The sacrifices and struggles of revolutionaries led to a wave of patriotism across the nation, which ultimately compelled the British to leave India and granted us our freedom.”
He noted that this year marks the 80th anniversary of India’s independence, which will be celebrated on August 15 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yadav expressed his hope that all citizens would remember the sacrifices of the martyrs and celebrate the spirit of freedom together. He urged every citizen to commit to serving the nation.
CM Yadav mentioned, “We are organizing the Tiranga Yatra across the country. BJP National President Nitin Naveen has also called for this. Therefore, Tiranga Yatras are taking place in every state and capital. I am personally participating in the Tiranga Yatra in Bhopal.”
In a post on X, he wrote, “Victory to our beloved Tiranga, may our flag fly high. Today, I launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign by hoisting the flag at my residence. I pay homage to all the martyrs and freedom fighters whose sacrifices granted us independence. On this sacred occasion, I also participated in the Tiranga Yatra with all the staff at my residence.”
He concluded with a call to action, “Let us all pledge to uphold the dignity and honor of the Tiranga and fulfill our responsibilities to protect the freedom, unity, and integrity of our nation.”
