
New Delhi, August 9: The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign is set to launch across various states starting today. Initiated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in 2022, this campaign has evolved into a significant movement promoting patriotism and public participation. This year, the campaign will run from August 9 to August 17.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the campaign from Lucknow. He will commence the ‘Tiranga Yatra – With Youth’ as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ initiative. Additionally, he will participate in the centenary celebrations of the Kakori Train Action, honoring the glorious history and memories of brave revolutionaries.
In a post on the social media platform X, he stated, “When there is patriotism in the heart, bringing prosperity and reaching new heights of development becomes the primary goal for every individual.”
On Sunday, CM Yogi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for over 107 public welfare projects worth more than ₹311 crores in the Dumariyaganj and Bansi assembly constituencies of Siddharthnagar district. Furthermore, he will distribute certificates to beneficiaries of various schemes.
He emphasized in his X post, “Embracing the mantra of ‘Nation First,’ the double-engine government is fully committed to preserving heritage, holistic development, and bringing positive change to every citizen’s life.”
Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has made a special appeal to the residents of the state. In his post on X, he remarked, “The tricolor is the highest symbol of our nation’s identity, unity, and pride. It strengthens the feelings of patriotism, duty, and ‘Nation First’ in every Indian’s heart. I urge all residents to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes, establishments, and institutions from August 9 to August 17 as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Also, take a selfie and upload it on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website to express your respect and pride for the nation.”
He added, “Let us pledge this Independence Day that every home in Rajasthan will be adorned with the tricolor, every heart will beat for Mother India, and every citizen will proudly say – ‘My tricolor – My identity, My India – My pride.’”
Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has also urged the residents to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from August 9 to August 17 and make it a festival of patriotism.
In Haryana, a state-level event called ‘Youth Marathon and Vande Mataram Concert’ has been organized under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, featuring Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
